Building Process
Design and contract
Once you have decided to build a Home by Heritage, we then move over to the design phase of construction. This is where you can sit with an architect and begin to bring your home design ideas to life. After the initial meeting with the architect has taken place, we then move into the contract stage. A purchase agreement and building specifications will be signed by both you and builder. Once all documents are signed, a deposit will be collected before construction will begin. Home by Heritage is a turnkey builder and will carry the financing throughout the construction of your house.
Review Plans and Finish Selections
The architect will be in contact with both you and Heritage during the design process. Preliminary plans will be sent to both parties for review, and once the plans are finalized and approved we will then meet with you to discuss the process of selecting finishes.
Pre-Construction
The Heritage Team will begin this stage by pulling the building permits, starting temporary utilities, and establishing the construction schedule. During this time, you will be selecting finishes including brick, countertops, paint colors, tile, plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures and all of the details that will make the house feel like Home!
Construction
The construction phase of the project is where Heritage will physically be bringing your house plans to life. Your house will have a onsite superintendent that oversees all aspects of your building process. All members of the Heritage team will be monitoring the progress through our logistical tracking software. We know communication is key! We will have periodic onsite meetings with you, as well as email updates, and other various forms of contact during the building process.
Construction Completion
Heritage strives to build every home with quality as our number one focus. Before the closing of your home, our Superintendent will meet with you and develop a punch list. After the punch list has been completed, we will meet with you to do a final walk through. At this meeting, you will receive your “Home by Heritage Owner’s Manual,” which includes all the information needed to maintain your new Home. From design to close, there is no home like a Home by Heritage!
